1 cup shortening
1 ¾ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs, separated (blend in yolks) (beat whites till stiff then fold in)
1 cup cold water
⅓ cup pureed tomatoes
2 ½ cup bisquick
½ cup cocoa or less
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

(1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

(2) Mix dry ingredients into creamy.

(3) Pour into 2 bread pans.

(4) Bake for 30 minutes.
