For Cookies:
1-1/2 c. Powdered Sugar
1 c. softened Butter or Margarine
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
1 Egg
2-1/2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Cream of Tarter

For Frosting:
2 c. Powered Sugar
2 Tbsp. Water
2 Tbsp. Light Corn Syrup
1/2 tsp. Vanilla

For Cookies:
Beat together first five ingredients. Stir in flour, baking soda and cream of tarter. Heat oven to 375º. Divide dough in half and roll each half to 1/4" thick on floured surface. Cut into shapes. Place 2" apart on cookie sheet and bake no longer than eight minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and let cool completely on paper towels. Decorate.

For Frosting:
Beat all ingredients until smooth. This icing is shinny. If using a piping bag to decorate, cut water by one tablespoon.
