1 lb. of ground beef
1 onion
2- 8 oz. cans tomato sauce

Directions:
Boil egg noodles, and toss with butter or margarine. Brown ground beef. I add chopped onion at the end of the browning. Stir in tomato sauce. Remove from heat. Mix together sour cream, cottage cheese, onion and green pepper.

Spread the cooked noodles in the bottom of a greased 9x14 pan. Spread the cheese mixture over the noodles, then pour the ground beef/tomato sauce mixture on top. Bake at 350º for about 30-40 minutes.

Personal Notes:
We don’t have an Aunt Martha, and I have no idea who she is, but I loved this casserole growing up, and in the Burns house it was a staple on the dinner menu.
