1 c Sugar 1 c Water
1/2 c Port or Red Wine 1/4 tsp Ground Allspice
1/2 c Dried Tart Cherries 12 oz Fresh Cranberries
2/3 c Chopped Walnuts, toasted 1/2 tsp Grated Orange Rind
1/4 tsp Almond Extract

Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil. Add cherries, cook 1 minute. Stir in cranberries, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes or until cranberries pop. Remove from heat. Stir in walnuts, grated orange rind, and almond extract. Cool, cover, and chill.
