Ingredients:
Celery, green pepper, onions, hard-boiled eggs,Salt & pepper, Miracle Whip (never mayonnaise) and some sugar

The above is Mom's original recipe. She never gave you precise measurements for most things she made—a little of this, a little of that till you like the taste. But below are approximations for the ingredients.

  • 8 medium potatoes, cooked and diced

  • 1 1⁄2 c Miracle Whip

  • 2 TBS sugar

  • 1 TBS yellow mustard

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1⁄2 tsp pepper

  • 2 celery ribs, finely diced

  • 1 c onion, grated

  • 3-4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped

  • paprika

Directions:

  2. Add to potatoes.

  3. Add celery, onions salt and pepper and mix well.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Can be served at room temperature or chilled. Gram's Potato Salad was the BEST. It was never bland tasting and had just enough "zing" that it was loved by all.
