Grandma's Spare Ribs Recipe

3-4 lbs spareribs, cut in pieces
1 lemon
1 large onion
1 cup ketchup
⅓ cup Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
2-3 dashes Tabasco sauce
2 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º.

Place ribs in a shallow baking dish, meaty side up, with a slice of lemon and onion on top of each.

Roast for 30 minutes.

Mix other ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Pour over ribs.

Bake at 350º, basting occasionally, for about 1 hour, or until sauce has reduced and thickened.
