4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
¾ lb (3 sticks) salted butter, softened
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.

Cut in butter and flour.

Work in other ingredients with your hands.

Using a cookie press with a star tip, pipe lines of dough onto parchment paper. If the dough is too stiff, add 1-2 teaspoons milk.

Slice the dough into pieces about 2½-3 inches long and press the ends together to form a circle.

Place on cookie sheet.

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are turning golden brown.
