4 large eggs at room temperature
1 1/2 cups whole milk at room temperature
1` 1/2 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 cups fl;our
3/4 tbsp. kosher salt

Grease your popover pans and heat in the oven for two minutes at 425 degrees. Whisk all ingredients until smooth. The batter will be thin. Fill the popover pan so each individual area is 1/2 full. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 min.. Do not open the oven to peek while baking. Remove from oven and eat with butter or honey, or both. Delicious!!

Tip: In preparation, place the four eggs in a very warm bowl of water for 10 min. to help bring them to room temp.. Heat the milk on medium high for 40 seconds to bring it to a luke warm temp.. Proceed with mixing of all ingredients. Make sure you only fill the individual compartments half full..You will have leftover batter unless you have extra individual popover containers.

Great memory....Grandma Muggs always made these for us when we visited her in her Mankato Townhouse. She would always stand in front of her oven door, guarding it so we wouldn't open the oven and peek.
