5 cups flour
1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder (heaped)
1 teaspoon soda (leveled)
2 eggs (stir in cup with ½ teaspoon salt and fill cup with sweet milk)
1 level teaspoon. Soda in ½ cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix all ingredients together like pie dough - roll - cut - and bake at 375º — don’t over bake, should be almost white. Makes more than 5 dozen at a time and is super easy.
