5 c. sliced fresh peaches (peeled)
½ c. water
1 c. sugar
2½ T. cornstarch
1 T. butter
1 ready-to-bake pie shell

Directions:
Crush 1 c. peaches. Combine with water, sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Boil 2 minutes or until clear. Pour over rest of peaches in baked pie shell.
