¾ cup Butter Flavor Crisco Shortening
1 cup Peanut Butter
1½ cups Brown Sugar, firmly packed
½ cup Water
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 cups Quick Oats - UNCOOKED
1½ cups All Purpose Flour
½ tsp Baking Soda
Granulated Sugar - for garnishing

Directions:
Directions:
Beat first three ingredients until creamy, beat in water, egg and vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients and mix well. Add to the creamy mixture and mix well. Cover and chill for about 2 hours. HEAT OVEN TO 350 º. Shape dough into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Dip fork into granulated sugar and flatten the cookie balls. Bake 9 to 11 minutes.
