Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cans green beans with can of water
2 cans wax beans with can of water
2 large russet potatoes, peeled and diced
2-3 carrots, peeled and diced
1 medium onion, chopped finely
2 lbs. bacon, diced (best if done partially frozen)
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. flour

For serving:
¼ c. whole milk
1 T. Vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Place first five ingredients in Dutch oven and add water to desired soup base. Boil this while browning bacon in separate pan. Remove bacon and drain on paper towel. Reserve about 6 T. of fat. Add flour and paprika to pan with fat. Cook over medium/medium low heat until it starts to darken. Add a little soup water to pan (careful as it will sizzle). Swish and dump into Dutch oven.
Add bacon and simmer 1½ hours.
To serve: Add ¼ c. Whole milk in bowl. Ladle soup over it. Stir and add 1 T. Vinegar, stirring fast so it doesn’t curdle.
