1 c. granulated sugar
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
c. margarine
c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. flour
tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt
c. chopped nuts (optional)
12oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Mix sugars, margarine, shortening and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Mix in nuts and chocolate chips. Spread dough in bar pan. Bake until light brown, approximately 12-14 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
