1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup shortening
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 Tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Mix flour, baking soda, salt and oats in medium bowl.

In large bowl, cream shortening and sugars on medium speed. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add milk and vanilla.

Gradually add dry mixture to wet mixture until we’ll mixed. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.

Scoop onto cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.
