1 to 1 ½ lbs. lean 12% ground beef
3 tsp. fresh garlic
1 can tomato sauce 8 oz.
¼ cup tomato juice
1/8 cup water
Jar Little Italy in the Bronx
¼ cup of onions diced
Salt, pepper to taste


Season to taste with, dried parsley flakes, oregano, thyme, Italian seasoning, sweet basil, cinnamon, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper (I usually go by my Italian Spaghetti Sauce recipe and add about half or little less for what it calls for in the above seasoning)

In large skillet add lean ground beef, garlic, salt, and pepper to taste, cook until meat starting to brown, add onions, continue to cook until onions get a little tender and meat browned.

Add tomato sauce, tomato juice and jar Little Italy in the Bronx, use 1/8 cup water to rinse can tomato sauce and pour into Little Italy jar put lid on, rinse then pour into meat sauce. Stir well then add any seasonings shown above you prefer and amounts of your choice. Once sauce is almost to a boiling point, then simmer on medium low, stirring occasionally, cook for approximately 30 minutes and seasonings added have cooked into sauce.

Serve with spaghetti noodles cooked and toppings of grated Romano or Parmesan cheese.
