1 lb. ground meat (beef, turkey or chicken)
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 slice of bread, coarsely pulled apart
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 ea. 8 oz. can of tomato paste (for topping)
1/2 cup brown sugar (for topping)

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, add all ingredients together and mix with your hands until a nice mush is created
Press the meat into patties sized to your liking
In a large frying pan over medium heat, cook until done in the center
While the meat cooks, mix together the tomato paste and brown sugar until wel blended
When the patties are done in the center, cover the tops liberally with the tomato paste topping, cover and reduce heat to low for 5 minutes.
Serve hot with a vegetable of your choice
