1 cup Crisco shortning
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

3 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400

Mix the shortning, sugar and eggs together.

Sift together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt, then mix with the shortning mixture.

Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then form into balls.

Mix the 3T sugar and 2t cinnamon together in a bowl. Roll the cookie dough balls
in this mixture.

Put on a cookie sheet and bake for 12 - 15 minutes.
