¼ c shortening
½ c. cocoa

½ c. oil
2 c. sugar

4 eggs

1¼ tsp. vanilla
2½ c. flour
½ Tbl. baking powder
½ tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening in sauce pan, add cocoa and put into a bowl.
Add oil and sugar and blend well. Add eggs and beat well.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Roll into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
Bake at 350º for 9-11 minutes. Do NOT overbake! (the top will look moist)
