Cookie:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 TBSP vanilla
3 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. ground cinnamon
½ tsp. salt

Frosting:
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 TBSP butter, softened
2 ½ cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1-2 tsp. milk (as needed)
Additional cinnamon for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, or bowl of stand mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla and mix well. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt and mix until a firm dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.

Preheat over to 375º F. Roll dough into 1" balls and place on baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Flatten each ball slightly with your hand or the bottom of a drinking glass until ⅓ to ½" thick. Bake 7-9 minutes until edges are slightly brown. Remove to cooling rack and cool before frosting.

Frosting:
Beat together cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Add vanilla and milk as needed to reach desired consistency. Beat until light and fluffy. Pipe onto cookies in a spiral shape and sprinkle with cinnamon.
