Directions:
Stir yeast into warm water and let stand 5 minutes. Mix milk, sugar, and salt. Add egg yolks, butter, and yeast mixture with 2 c. flour. Mix thoroughly. Add remaining flour and turn dough onto a board. Knead until it is smooth and elastic and doesn't stick to the board. Place in a greased bowl and let rise 1 hour. Turn out onto a floured board and divide into 4 or 5 parts--do not knead. Roll each piece about ⅛" thick and spread with the walnut filling. Roll up as you would for jelly roll.

Walnut Filling
Heat creamer just to boiling point. Add nuts, sugar, salt and vanilla. Brown the bread crumbs in the butter and add to walnut mixture. Beat egg whites till stiff and fold into the nut mixture and let cool. Spread over dough and roll from long side, as a jelly roll.
Bake at 350º until done. (No time was listed).

No recipe for the frosting was listed, but just frost with a white frosting and top with a few candied cherries.
