Directions:Heat oven to 350 Blend dry ingredients together in a bowl. Mix eggs and vanilla Blend butter into the dry mixture with a pastry blender until small evenly sized pieces. Make a well in the middle of flour mix and pour in liquid mix in well. If more liquid is needed, add some more vanilla so that it becomes a dough consistency. Roll dough out to about a 1/2" thick. Roll 2 pieces out to pan size 9 X13. Place the bottom one in place, prick layer with a fork. Pour jam on top and spread evenly. Place 2nd dough piece on top. Prick the top with a fork. Bake for 30 minutes, it should be lightly browned Shake powdered sugar on top about 1/4". |

Notes: This is a nice dessert for the holidays. The tradition for 4 generations has been to cut up the whole pan and put them in colored/decor muffin liners. It makes it easy and less messy to eat. Also festive on the platter. Unless its just for family then everyone can get the size piece they want.
