3/4 c vegetable shortening
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 c water
1 tsp vailla
1/2 c granulated sugar
3 c uncooked oatmeal
1 c all purpose flour
1 tsp salt (optional)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 c peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together the shortening, sugars, egg, water and vanilla until creamy. Combine the remaining ingredients, add to the first mixture and mix well. Add the peanut butter and the chocolate chips and mix. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15min
