1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar and egg; add vanilla and dry ingredients. Separate dough into 2 parts and refrigerate for a few hours. Roll out on floured board and cut into desired shapes. bake at 325 for 8 minutes.

Ice with an icing with powdered sugar, a little milk, a little vanilla and food coloring.
