Mix 1:
1/3 c lard
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg

Mix 2:
2 c flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c milk


Sauce:
2 oz chocolate or 1/4 c cocoa
1/2 c water

1 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 T butter

1/4 tsp vanilla
Directions:

Cake:
Combine Mix 1 in order
then add in Mix 2 in order

Put into loaf pan and bake
375º for 40 minutes

For sauce:
Cook chocolate (or cocoa) and water till blended
Add in everything else but vanilla and cook until thick and creamy
Cool then add vanilla
Serve
