Ingredients:  
Preheat Oven to - 350F
Cream Together:
• ½ cup Butter or Margarine
• ¼ cup White Sugar
Add:
• Well Beaten Egg – Yolk
• 2 teaspoons of Lemon Juice
Beat Well - Add:
• cup All Purpose Flour
- Combine until well blended.
- Shape dough into balls which should be about 1" in diameter.
Dip Balls In:
• Slightly Beaten Egg – White
Then Roll Them In:
• 1 cup of - Finely Chopped Walnuts (or any other nut of choice)

Directions:
Directions:
• Place on a greased baking sheet and make a - Fairly Deep Indentation in the centre with your Thumb.
• Bake for about 5 minutes - Then pull out of the oven and dent again - only if needed.
• Put back into the oven and continue to Bake for another 10 - 12 minutes. Check for desired doneness as some ovens vary.
Once Baked - Remove from the Oven and Let Cool a bit before removing from baking sheet.
Once Removed and placed on Wire Rack to Cool - Add your Favorite Jam to the centre of the cookie.
You can also do some without rolling them in Nuts as they are enjoyable plain as well.
(I like to double up this recipe as these are a favorite and go very quickly in our house) Enjoy and Merry Christmas.
