Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound hamburger
6 slices of bacon
1 large onion or onion powder
Garlic powder not a lot
Salt
Pepper
Macaroni
Beef bouillon cube
Tomato Soup
Ketchup
Sugar
Frozen corn and peas if desired (Mom did not use this but I remember the delicious goulash that was served at my Oakdale school and it had corn in it.)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni in boiling water with the bouillon cube. If desired, add veggies during the last couple of minutes

Cook bacon until crisp, remove from pan. Brown hamburger in pan with grease. Add most of the onion at the same time. Season with spices. Add the rest of the onion. Pour in soup, sugar and add ketchup. Cut bacon into pieces and add to mixture. Stir.

I started using my homemade tomato basil soup mix. This gave it a flavor very similar to Oakdale's school recipe.
