1 head of cabbage
2 medium onions
2 grated carrots (I use more)
3/4 cup sugar
Dressing:
1 cup white vinegar
2 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
In a large container, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrots and chopped onions.
Mix well. Sprinkle over this mixture 3/4 cup sugar. Mix and let stand while you make
dressing.
To prepare dressing mix all ingredients together in saucepan except for vegetable oil.
Bring to a boil; add vegetable oil. Boil 1/2 minute, no longer. Pour over the cabbage mixture and mix well. Keep in refrigerator. Will keep two weeks.
