2 C sugar
1 C milk
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 C chopped nuts
2 squares chocolate (or 6 Tbsp cocoa powder)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, milk and chocolate in pan stirring constantly until a it forms a soft ball stage. Add butter and remove from heat. Let stand till nearly cooled. Then add vanilla. Beat hard until it begins to thicken. Spread 1 inch thick on buttered pan. Cool and cut into squares.
