Gravy:
Olive oil
Chopped onion
Garlic
Pepperoni
Italian sausage
2 cans Pastene kitchen tomatoes
2 small cans tomato paste
2 cans water
Italian seasoning
Basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated cheese (optional)

Meatballs:
1 ˝ Hamburg, veal, and pork mix (aka meatloaf/meatball mix)
2 Eggs
Slash of milk
1 to 1˝ cups Italian breadcrumbs (approximately)
3 Tbsp finely chopped onion
2 minced Garlic cloves (based on taste)
Olive oil

Directions:

Gravy:
Sauté onion, garlic, pepperoni, and sausage for a few minutes until golden brown.

Add Pastene, tomato paste, and 2 can of water to sauce/meat mixture.


Meatballs:
Mix meatball mix, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, and finely chopped onion together. Roll into balls and fry in oil.Drain

Add cooked meatballs to sauce and simmer. Simmer for at least 2-3 hours the longer, the better.
