2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/4 teaspoon soda
3 cup Sour Milk
2 eggs, well beaten
2 Tablespoons melted shortening

These are best with real sour milk but you can make your own sour milk by adding 2 tablespoons vinegar to 2 cups milk.

Combine and stir dry ingredients. Add milk, eggs, and melted shortening and stir. This may be lumpy, that is ok.

Fry on griddle.
