1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
3 tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
1 tsp. cloves (optional)
3 cups flour
2 raw applies (diced)
1 cup nuts
1 cup raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Only direction is to bake in 350º oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
(Cream brown sugar and shortening add eggs and mix until fluffy, mix flour, baking soda and spices together and add to cream mixture alternately with buttermilk. Mix well then add apples, nuts and raisins,)
