1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups corn flakes
1 cup coconut
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Only directions were to make in small balls and flatten with a fork. Bake in 375º oven.
(cream the shortening, brown and white sugar, add eggs and vanilla, beat. Mix the baking powder, baking soda and salt with the flour, add to the creamed mixture, mix well then add oatmeal, cornflakes and coconut.)
