Lemon Cake / grease a 13x9 pan / 350 degrees oven

1 box yellow cake mix
1 pkg lemon jello
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup oil
Mix the above ingredients together. Mixture will appear a bit dry.
Then add, beating in one at a time:
4 eggs
Spread in pan and bake 35 minutes (or until toothpick inserted come out clean)

When cake is done, remove from oven and using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the surface of the cake.

While hot, poor the icing over and into the holes. Refrigerate, serve and enjoy.

Icing:
2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice

Crecie owned a restaurant in Vernonia OR, right on the main street that runs from one end of the tiny town to the other. She fed the loggers, and called her restaurant “Chat-‘n-Nibble”. This was a recipe she used often!
