Personal Notes:
We used to love Sunday dinner at Grandma Shirley's house because she served the best meatballs with Spaghetti. After watching her make them, it was apparent she never measured anything - just threw a little of this and that in the bowl !

The secret, however, was in how long she cooked those meatballs: the longer she cooked them, the more tender they were.

I usually make 2 - 3 lbs. at a time and freeze them in meal-size containers. Or - make a crockpot full for a party!
