¾ cup softened shortening with part butter( or butter flavored Crisco)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
½ teaspoon vanilla
2½ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening , eggs, sugar and vanilla.
In separate bowl add flour baking powder and salt.
Slowly mix dry ingredients into wet.
Chill for at least one hour.
Roll out with flour on wax or parchment paper about one inch thick.
Cut using cookie cutters and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 400º for 6-8 minutes.
