1½ lbs. (2 bars) German sweetened chocolate
1½ tbsp. of water
4 eggs, separated
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
½ cup chopped pecans
1 cup cream, whipped
1 (9 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers

Directions:
Directions:
Blend water and chocolate over low heat until pasty. Remove from heat. Add egg yolks, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add powdered sugar. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Add chopped pecans, then fold in whipped cream. Cover bottom of squares with layer of vanilla wafers. Cover wafers with layer of chocolate mixture, building alternate layers until chocolate is finished. Top layer should be chocolate. Chill in refrigerator at least 24 hours.
