Ingredients:
1 Qt Buttermilk
2 Tbsp Yeast
2 Tbs White Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
3 tsp Baking Powder
2 Tbsp Oil
10-11 Cups Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine luke-warm buttermilk, oil, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and beaten eggs.

Add 3 Cups of Flour and yeast, stir to combine. Add the remaining flour to make a soft dough.

Allow dough to rise until it's doubled in size, and then punch the dough down.

Roll out the dough and cut into squares for scones.

In an electric skillet, heat some vegetable oil to 375ºF. Deep fry the scones until lightly browned on both sides.

Serve with your choice of toppings! (My favorite is whipped honey butter!)

Whipped Honey Butter:
2 sticks softened butter, 1/4 Cup honey, 1/2 cup of milk, combine with a handheld mixer until fluffy.

Personal Notes:
This makes a HUGE batch for a big group. Cut the recipe in half for one family.
