2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ cup butter
1½ cups packed light brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup nuts, chopped
1 cup chopped raisins
1 cup finely chopped, unpared apples
¼ cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt, soda and spices. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and mix well. Stir in half of the dry ingredients. Add nuts, raisins and apples.

Mix in milk and rest of dry ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets and bake at 400º from 12 to 14 minutes. Cookies should be placed 2 inches apart. Frost if desired.
