2 cups sifted flour

1 tsp salt

¼ tsp sugar

2/3 cup shortening

5 or 6 tbsp. cold water

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Sift dry ingredients together

Cut into shortening until mixture resembles small peas.

Sprinkle with water 1 tsp at a time.

Mix lightly with fork until mixture is moist.

Divide dough and roll into a ball. Use as needed.
