5 eggs
1/2 C. water + yellow food coloring (or no coloring)
ADD flour until mix is nice and stiff and does not stick to fingers when kneaded.

Roll out to thin 1/4" and let dry overnight. Cut into 1/4" wide strips. Use immediately or freeze for another day.

This is another depression era recipe. We always made lots of batches and just froze them for later use. We often times gave packages of these as gifts. Not many people make their own noodles anymore.

I have used a noodle maker, but still prefer them made all my hand.
