Huli-Huli Sauce
Water
Ground Ginger
Garlic Salt (preferably Mexican)

This is based off of Grandma Sue's teriyaki I got from Mom.

This marinade can be used in multiple ways (hours before cooking or days) and the ratio is dependent upon that. For shorter marinades you'll do it stronger, for longer it will be more mild to not overpower the meat.

A typical overnight chicken/meat marinade you'll do a 1/3's ratio between the soy, huli and water. Quantity of liquids is based on amount of food (single chicken breast or 6 pounds of beef short ribs). The dry ingredients are added to taste depending upon personal preference. In any application it's best to mix wet/dry ingredients before adding meat.
