4-5 bags microwave popcorn (unbuttered), all kernels removed
1 lb. brown sugar (2 cups)
1 cup white karo syrup
1/2 lb. butter, cut into smaller pieces
1 can Borden's Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar and corn syrup over heat in a heavy pan. Stir together until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil.
Add milk and butter and cook to "softball" stage (less than 5 minutes). Count to 10 after you reach softball stage. (Watch closely--burns easily)
Pour over popcorn in a very large Tupperware type container and mix together.

Craig's Grandma, Loretta Johnson, kept this recipe a secret from everyone, including her children and grandchildren, until she was on her death bed. This is the Johnson family's favorite Christmas treat.
