Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Use a cast iron skillet well seasoned to make these beauties.
2 pieces of bread buttered on one side.

Old electric fry pan with turn dial
oleo/margarine spread/butter
Kraft American cheese slices or store brand
sliced Vienna bread

Instructions: Wait til grandkids have exhausted other food items such as pecan sandies cookies, oreos, windmill cookies, goldfish crackers. Warm griddle. Spread margarine onto bread. When griddle is warm & grandkids are talking way too loud, place cheese slice between bread to make sandwhich. **Be sure to ask each child periodically about the level of crisp forming on the bread, as they each have particular preferences.

Serve with a glass of milk, preferably. 7 up is also a good stand-in.

Always served with patience & affection.
