(Mix 1)
3/4 c dark brown sugar
1/2 c shortening

1/2 c molasses
1 egg

(Mix 2)
3 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream Mix 1.
Stir Mix 2 together in separate bowl

Take Mix 1, and add in Molasses and Egg, and mix, then add in Mix 2 and stir.
Roll out on floured surface until about 1/8" thick.

Cut out cookies, and place on greased pan to bake.

350º
10-12 minutes
