Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 whole Chicken or chicken pieces (I use about 3 or 4 breast)
12 to 15 Chicken Bouillon cubes
4 cups Flour
5 eggs
3 cups water
Salt & pepper to your taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the chicken until the meat wants to almost fall off the bones, add more water as needed, I like to add 3 bouillon cube to the water as the chicken boils, remove the chicken from the pot, let cool a little, remove meat from the bones, I drain the chicken (water) broth into another pot just to make sure I have no bones in my broth, then I put it back into the pot I started with, add your remaining bouillon cubes to the hot broth so they can dissolve, in a big bowl add flour, salt, pepper, eggs, & water mix, it should be kinda thick (almost like a cake batter), bring your broth to a boil & slowly spoon (about 1/2 teaspoon) into your boiling broth turn down your heat a bit so you don’t burn yourself, I put the spoon into the hot broth & the flour mixture (dumplings) should fall off your spoon. When you have spooned all your flour mixture into the broth, add the chicken & let it remain cooking for maybe 10 minutes & enjoy

This recipe came from my mother in-law Evelyn she made in best dumplings, I’m blessed she shared her recipe with me.
