2 cups sugar
3 tbsp cocoa
¼ tspn cream of tartar
1 cup whole milk
2 tbsp butter
1 tspn vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well and cook over low heat to soft ball stage (check a cookbook). Do not stir after you take it off the stove. Put it (pan) in sink of cold water. Add 2 tbsp. butter at this time.

Let fudge cook. DO NOT STIR. When you can put your hand on bottom of pan and it stays cold then its ready to stir and beat. Add 1 tspn vanilla extract and stir it and the butter in the chocolate. Then hand it over to your dad and tell him to get to work. when it loses it's shine pour onto a greased plate.
