3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup soft butter or margarine
1½ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla or 2 tsp grated lemon peel

Topping: ½ cup sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon

1. Sift the first 4 ingredients and set aside
2. In large bowl, at medium speed, beat butter, sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy
3. At low speed, beat in sour cream and vanilla until smooth
4. Gradually beat in flour mixture until well combined
5. Refrigerate for 1 hour
6. Meanwhile, preheat oven 375º, lightly grease cookie sheets
7. Drop by slightly rounded tbsp, 2" apart
8. Sprinkle with topping
9. Bake 10-12 min
10. Cool on wire rack
