Ingredients:  
3 c sugar
1 c milk
2 oz chocolate OR 6 T cocoa
1 T butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place all except vanilla and butter in a saucepan and boil till it forms a soft ball in cool water.
Remove from heat and add the butter and vanilla and then heat again until creamy consistency.
Pour into buttered pan and cut into squares when cool enough.

Grandma Ina's fudge is the one that is a little gritty.
The recipe card it is on has a taped cutting from a magazine or newspaper on it saying...
"Children cause dirt to scatter impartially from attic to cellar. But think of the sunshine that goes with it. The dirt will settle but the sunshine fills every nook and cranny."
