Grandma Louise's Pumpkin Pie Recipe

3/4 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
6 eggs
1 T vanilla
3-4 c milk (part canned) (Grandma's first recipe says 3 cups... there were multiple copies)
2 c canned pumpkin (2 1/2 size can)

Directions:

Combine in order given and mix well

They will fit into two 9" pastry lined pie pans

450º for 15 minutes
then 350º for 30 mins

They are done when an inserted knife comes out clean

There were about 4 different recipe cards for this one, and the amount of milk was given as 3-4 cups on all of them except one, that looked like it was in Grandma's younger penmanship, saying 3 cups.

All of them said to use some canned milk though, if I recall correctly, it was about 1 cup canned the rest fresh.
