¾ cup of shortening
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
4 tbsp molasses
2 cups of flour
3 level tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of ginger
1 tsp of cloves
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in order given above. Place in covered bowl overnight in refrigerator. Roll in ball size (marbles), and then roll in granulated sugar. Bake at 250º, for 30 minutes.
